More Samsung Galaxy S5 mini photos and specs leaked

Following its earlier leak, the folks at Sammobile have gotten their hands on more photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. Now the specs of the Galaxy S5 mini have been confirmed as well through AnTutu and CPU-Z screenshots.

From the screenshots provided by Sammobile’s tipster, the upcoming compact device will be having a Quad-Core Exynos processor running at 1.4GHz, Mali-400 GPU, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. The front display is said to be a 4.5″ Super AMOLED unit and it is confirmed having a a modest 1280×720 pixels resolution.

For camera, it is detected as having a 8MP main unit and a front facing 2.1MP camera. From the images, the Galaxy S5 mini would also feature a fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor like its bigger Galaxy S5 model. The tipster also added that it comes with IP67 dust and water resistance although the micro-USB port appears to be flap-less in the photos.

So far there’s no word on its release. On pricing, we expect this to be priced around the RM1,500 range like its predecessor and other “mini” rivals like the HTC One mini 2 and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact.

Check out more Galaxy S5 mini photos after the break.
