Samsung Galaxy F appears again in outdoor shot

The Samsung Galaxy F which is said to be the higher-spec version of the Galaxy S5 has appeared once again. This time the device is seen clearly in an outdoor shot which was obtained by PhoneArena.

The front display is bigger and appears to have thinner bezels at the sides with less space to waste at both top and bottom. As rumoured previously, the Galaxy F or speculated to be the Galaxy S5 Prime is expected to feature a larger 5.2″ display that does QHD resolution. The back comes with similar camera and heart rate sensor placement as the Galaxy S5 but the surface is noticeably different with a glossy and brushed aluminium look.

Considering that this device would be launching sometime later in September, it is advisable to take such rumours and leaked images with a pinch of salt. With Samsung’s tight secrecy, it is unlikely they have a prototype that looks like the final product this early ahead of launch. Just a few days back, @Evleaks revealed an image of the purported Galaxy F which appears to have brushed metal finish like its current nemesis, the LG G3.

Considering the Galaxy Note 3 replacement is coming out around September/October period, we could be seeing 2 flagship Samsung devices launching very closely together. So if you’re planning to purchase a smart phone during the year end holidays, which would you pick? The Galaxy F or the Galaxy Note 4? Leave your comments below.
