If you’re looking for an incredibly slim smart phone that supports dual-SIM and runs on an Octa-Core processor, you might want to check out the IPro Sense Avancer. IPro is home grown Malaysian brand that’s trying to move up the ladder with a higher-spec offering. Design wise, it looks quite similar to Huawei Ascend P6 with its slim profile and curved edges towards at the top and bottom.
At just 6.8mm thick, this is probably one of the thinnest Dual-SIM Octa-Core smart phone in the market. The front gets a 5.5″ Full HD 1920×1080 resolution display which pushes a rather dense 400 pixels per inch. To withstand day to day abuses, it is further toughen with Gorilla Glass 3.
On the inside, the Sense Avancer packs quite a decent spec with a 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor mated to 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of storage which is expandable with microSD. At the back, it sports a 14MP Sony BSI Camera while the front gets a 8MP shooter for higher resolution Selfie shots.
In terms of connectivity, it ticks all the crucial boxes such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and it even offers wireless charging as well. On-board it is juiced up by a 2,300mAh battery and like most affordable Octa-Core devices, it supports up to 3G HSPA. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The asking price for this device is RM1,099 which excludes the optional wireless charger. Compared with another local brand Gphone EVO, the IPro Sense Avancer costs RM200 more but you get a better screen, more RAM and a thinner design.
