The HTC One M8 Duo Camera set up at the back allows you to enhance depth-of-field after the picture has been taken. While this “Refocus” implementation is done more effectively through its twin camera hardware, the software unfortunately has very limited controls where the background is often blurred excessively.
To give users some level of adjustment, HTC has updated its Gallery app where you can adjust the intensity manually. The new Gallery update also benefits other HTC models that are running on Sense 6.0 such as last year’s HTC One M7. It adds extra functions such as Dimension Plus and Pan 360.
You can update the Gallery app manually through Google Play Store here.
