Ninetology is launching their first ever 4G LTE smart phone with the U9 Z1T. Following its earlier teaser, they have finally revealed the full specs on its product page.
The Z1T will be having a 5″ IPS display that does 1280×720 pixels resolution and runs on Qualcomm’s Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor that’s clocked at 1.2GHz and mated to 1GB of RAM. For storage, it gets 8GB on-board which can further expanded with microSD up to 32GB.
It also gets a 13MP main camera and a front facing 1.6MP unit. Powering the device is a 2,000mAh capacity battery and it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. For a mid-spec 5″ smart phone, the device is quite heavy at 164 grams but it maintains a slender 8.4mm thickness. That’s about 0.8mm thinner but 24 grams heavier than the Huawei Honor 3C.
It is expected to be priced below RM1,000 and currently they are running a price guessing contest on Facebook. What do you think it’s going to be? With more affordable 4G LTE smart phones like the HTC Desire 610 and Sony Xperia M2, price would definitely be a factor if Ninetology plans to catch the crowd. Who knows they might pull off something like the Honor 3C.
