HTC One E8 officially announced. Latest HTC flagship sans Metal and Ultrapixel Camera

The HTC One E8 is now official, offering a lighter body and a single 13MP camera at the back. Earlier rumoured as the HTC One M8 Ace, the One E8 comes with similar spec as the One M8 with a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor (for Asia/China markets) that’s mated to 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of storage. It also gets a microSD slot that expands up to 128GB capacity.

Interestingly, the One E8 gets dual-nano SIM slots with the first SIM slot supporting 3G/4G LTE while the secondary SIM supports 2G connectivity. The main camera is a 13MP BSI Sensor with f/2.2 aperture which is capable of shooting Full 1080p HD videos. The rest of the specs remain unchanged with a 2,600mAh capacity battery, 5″ Full HD display, 5MP front facing camera and HTC BoomSound front stereo speakers. Out of the box it runs on Android 4.4.2 with the latest Sense 6.0. Overall, the One E8 is 15 grams lighter at 145g (One M8: 160g) but it is slightly thicker at 9.85mm (One M8: 9.35mm).

The HTC One E8 will be sold in China first this month with other countries to follow shortly. For more information, you can check out the HTC China’s One E8 product page.
