LG G3 is coming to Malaysia

UPDATE: Looks like it is not happening at all. LG has clarified that they are referring to South East Asia region as a whole. If you want to purchase one, retailer DirectD is offering it right now in white.

The LG G3 is quite an impressive flagship device with a Quad HD 5.5″ display and a 13MP Camera that is enhanced with OIS+ and Laser AF. If you probably have noticed, LG has been very quiet in the mobile business in Malaysia. Notable key models such as the Nexus 5, LG G2, LG G Pro 2 and the LG G Flex were never launched here officially. As a result, Malaysians had to buy grey imported units which are better known as AP sets.

Now it appears that LG Malaysia would be active once again in the mobile business with the arrival of the LG G3 in Malaysia. This was discovered through a reply from LGElectronics Twitter account and was confirmed through an official from LG Malaysia. The arrival of LG’s latest pride and joy would definitely stir up some competition. Spec wise, the LG G3 is already taking the lead among the latest flagship models today. So far there’s no official availability dates but we expect LG Malaysia to make announcements when the launch is near.

Thanks @Jackson_XXI for the tip via Twitter!
