DiGi start pre-orders for Xiaomi Mi 3 at midnight tonight

UPDATE: DiGi offer the Mi 3 for Free on Smart Plan 148. Details here.

DiGi is one of the 3 telcos in Malaysia that’s offering the Xiaomi Mi 3 smart phone on contract. If you’ve registered your interest, they have just sent an email that the online pre-orders will start as 12:00AM midnight tonight at their website.

So far they have yet to reveal any plan details but it is expected that DiGi is bundling it with 24 months contract of DG Smart Plans. Since the phone retails at RM889, it is likely that DiGi will be bundling it for free on their highest Smart Plan 148. For those preferring to buy outright without contract, Xiaomi will be selling 6,000 units at noon tomorrow (12:00PM) on mi.com/my.

If you’re still deciding whether to purchase the Xiaomi Mi 3 from DiGi or directly from Xiaomi’s website, check out the DiGi videos after the break.
