If you prefer to buy the Xiaomi Mi 3 on contract, DiGi will be accepting pre-orders for the device starting next Tuesday on 27th May. To be the first to know about its plans, they have started its registration of interest. Like any other new smart phone bundles by DiGi, the Xiaomi Mi 3 will be tied with a 24-months contract. It might be possible to see the Mi 3 being offered for free on its top tier Smart Plan 148 at RM148/month.
The Xiaomi Mi 3 will be going on sale online starting tomorrow at 12PM for RM889. There will be only 4,000 Silver units available which are likely to be sold out within minutes. To recap on the specs, the Mi 3 offers a 5″ Full HD display and runs on a high-end 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It gets a front 2MP camera while the main camera is a 13MP shooter from Sony assisted with dual LED flash lights. You can learn more about the device in our full hands-on video. Apart from DiGi, both Celcom and Maxis too will be offering the device on contract but so far there’s still no news on its actual offering.
