DiGi to offer Xiaomi Mi 3 on contract

The Xiaomi Mi 3 is one of the most talked about smart phone which will be sold this 20th May at RM889. While there are only 4,000 units available for outright purchase through Mi’s online store, it looks like DiGi will also be offering the device on contract as well.

They have just posted a teaser image of three bowls of rice with a big 米 (pronounced Mi) which is no doubt referring to the Xiaomi Mi 3 smart phone. Details will be revealed on 19th May which is the official media launch of Xiaomi in Malaysia.

What’s certain is DiGi will bundle this with their DG Smart Plans with a 24 months contract. With the outright price of just RM889, we won’t be surprised if it is offered for Free on their highest Smart Plan 148. Stay tuned for details this coming Monday.
