DiGi has appointed Lars-Ake Norling as its new CEO which will take effect on 1st August 2014. He replaces the current CEO Henrik Clausen who will be taking on a senior role within the Telenor Group.
Before his latest appointment, Lars-Åke Norling is the CEO of Telenor Sweden since April 2009. In Sweden, Telenor is the second largest operator with over 2.5 million mobile and 700,00 fixed broadband subscribers. Under his belt, he has vast experience in broadband where he started at local provider Bredbandsbolaget before joining Telenor Sweden as the head of Fixed Network.
Henrik Clausen has been the CEO of DiGi for about 4 years now since his appointment in 2010. Before this, he was previously the CEO of Telenor Denmark, a position which he had held since the broadband company that he had served as CEO was acquired by the Telenor Group.
