Moto G gets refreshed with 4G LTE & microSD slot

The Moto G is one of our favourite smart phones with its mid-spec offering at an affordable price. The only downside is the lack of 4G LTE connectivity and its limited 8GB and 16GB of storage with no expansion slot.

Along with Moto E‘s announcement, Motorola has also announced a newer Moto G variant which comes with 4G LTE and microSD expansion slot. The hardware specification remain unchanged with a 4.5″ 720p HD display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and a choice of 8GB or 16GB storage options.

In the US, the 8GB version is priced at US$219 which is about RM709 when converted directly. As comparison, the 3G version is priced at US$179 which is about RM579. If it gets here, hopefully Motorola would priced it competitively as the Moto G now faces more competition from its Chinese rivals.
