The HTC One mini is expected to be replaced very soon and its successor is rumoured to be called as the HTC One mini 2. With its announcement expected to happen very soon, more images of the device has surfaced. @Evleaks have just released what appears to be its official press image as shown above which indicates 3 different colours – dark grey, silver and gold.
In terms of specs, the new mini 2 is speculated to be having a 4.5″ HD 720p display and runs on a modest Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 with 1GB of RAM. The back camera is said to be a 13MP shooter with a single LED flash.
Interestingly PhoneArena has gotten a picture of the new HTC One mini with a different colour scheme. It is in silver but comes with yellow accents which you can check out after the break.
In terms of specs, the One mini 2 appears to be just a refresher of its current HTC One mini with specs that are very similar to the Moto G. We would expect the One mini 2 to be priced around the same range as its current model which is around RM1,500-RM1,700 range. At such prices, it will face uphill battle with high-performance compact smart phones like the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact that’s priced at RM1,699.
