Samsung is expected to roll out multiple variants of its Galaxy S5 and now information of its Galaxy S5 mini has surfaced on Samsung Mobile’s New Zealand Website. The page which outlines its mobile warranty information has listed the compact S5 mini’s limitation of being submerged for 30 minutes under 1 meter of water. This is the typical IP67 dust and water resistant credential like its current Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S5.
At time of writing, they have removed the Galaxy S5 mini from the page but you still view the cached copy in the source link below. The Galaxy S5 mini will be a notch down from the Galaxy S5 in terms of hardware and it is rumoured to have a 4.5″ HD 720p display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5GB of RAM. The new model is expected to be revealed by mid year and it could be launched together with its high-end Galaxy S5 variant rumoured to be its premium F-series.
