UPDATE: The Phone Smash Campaign is now open but limited to the initial 16 countries.
OnePlus is organising a special smashing sale (literally) of their latest OnePlus One. Their new flagship smart phone can be yours for just US$1 but only if you are willing to smash your phone to smithereens. The promo is limited to 100 lucky people and presumably to those residing in the 16 launch countries.
Update: If you’re residing in the 16 countries listed, don’t smash your phone just yet. There’s an application process where you would need to specify what device you plan to smash and how you are going to do it. They will pick the best 100 submissions where you are required shoot video of you destroying the device if you’re the chosen one.
The registration is now open and the countdown timer is ticking until tomorrow 25th April at 6PM. If such promo is available here, would you smash your current phone for One? The OnePlus One is an impressive high spec device that’s priced for less than RM1,000 (US$299).
