Samsung Galaxy S5 Launch Venues in Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will officially go on sale tomorrow on the 11th April along with the rest of the world. Priced at RM2,399, the Galaxy S5 will be available through Samsung’s Elite Partner dealers as well as participating telco Celcom, DiGi and Maxis.

Celcom Blue Cube at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall (Oasis Boulevard)
DiGi Concept Store at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall (Lower Ground 2)
Maxis Centre at Suria KLCC (Ground Floor – Menara Maxis)
Samsung Experience Store at The Gardens Mall (Level 3)
Samsung Experience Store at Gurney Paragon Mall Penang (Level 6)

As a special promo, Samsung is giving 55 lucky buyers a mystery surprise at the 5 locations above. Also available tomorrow is the Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Fit smart watches that are priced at RM899 and RM599 respectively.

To recap, the Galaxy S5 features a 5.1″ Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on the latest 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor mated to 2GB of RAM. For Malaysia, we are getting 16GB of on-board storage which is expandable with microSD card up to 128GB. At the back, it features a 16MP camera that uses Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor and there’s also a heart rate sensor right underneath it. Also new is a finger print scanner that’s embedded on the home button at the front. Also on-board is a larger 2,800mAh battery, support for 4G LTE and a water resistance rated at IP67.
