Purported Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom gets leaked

After seeing its alleged specs, the Galaxy S4 Zoom replacement model has finally appeared with its first leaked shot. According to the source, the new photography focused smart phone could be called as the Galaxy K Zoom instead of Galaxy S5 Camera.

From the leaked image above, the new Galaxy S5 Zoom or K Zoom appears to be thinner while the zoom lens doesn’t protrude out like its former Galaxy S4 when not in use. With this flatter design, it is now possible to lay the device flat on the table. If you look closer, the back panel has a textured fake leather appearance like the current Galaxy smart phones. Also retained is a Xenon flash light as well for brighter illumination.

From earlier speculation, the new Galaxy S5 Zoom is said to be having a bigger 20MP camera with 10X Zoom which is an improvement over its 16MP predecessor. It runs on a Hexa-Core processor that’s likely to be similar as the Galaxy Note 3 Neo and is mated to 2GB of RAM. The display is said to be bigger at 4.8″ capable of pushing HD 720p resolution.

While Nokia PureView smart phones like the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1020 boast of having bigger sensors, the Samsung S4 Zoom has an advantage of having optical zoom up to 10X. Hopefully the new Galaxy S5 Zoom would offer better image quality this time around.
