Samsung to organise Galaxy S5 Preview Event. Pre-orders in Malaysia to start next Friday

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to be internationally available on the 11th of April but they would want you to see the device before it hits the shelves. Samsung will be displaying and opening pre-orders of the Galaxy S5 in over 1,400 stores in 61 countries worldwide. This also includes their latest Samsung Gear 2, Gear 2 neo and Gear Fit wearables. For Malaysia, it appears that consumers here might be getting a sneak preview of their own. Today Celcom has started its pre-registration for the Galaxy S5 and those who have signed up early will be invited for a sneak preview ahead of launch.

If you don’t plan to get the device on contract, Samsung Malaysia will also be accepting pre-orders on 28th March, right after its official launch on the 27th March. The pre-orders are be done through its participating Elite Partner dealers and you would be likely required to place a deposit. This is a rather smart move to thwart potential buyers from checking out other rival flagship devices that’s launching next month.
