All new HTC One announcement event to be streamed live

The All new HTC One that carries the codename HTC M8 will be launched on the 25th March in both London and New York. To catch the announcement, HTC is opening up a live stream which can be viewed here. Based on the countdown timer, it is happening next Tuesday on 25th March 2014 at 11:00PM Malaysian Time.

The HTC One looks like a late comer since both Samsung and Sony had already unveiled its flagship devices last month. We all know that announcements and actual sales availability are two different things. The early leaks and speculation suggests that HTC is not just ready to announce but also ready to go to market next week. Word has it that it will be available in stores in the UK on the same day and we’ve seen complete telco bundled box and brochures being leaked ahead of launch.

For us in Malaysia, Samsung is one of the fastest to roll out their smart phones internationally. The Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 went on sale within a month of its global announcement. Can HTC do better this time around? We will find out soon enough next week.
