Can’t wait for new HTC M8? GooPhone is selling it now

The new HTC One will be announced on 25th of March but that’s not stopping Chinese manufacturer GooPhone from releasing one right now. Well known for making direct copies of popular smart phone models, they have now released their new GooPhone M8 which supposed to be their equivalent of the new flagship device.

While the new HTC One has been leaked several times, GooPhone doesn’t seem to be getting the design right this time around. The front of the GooPhone M8 looks like last year’s HTC One while the Back looks like a HTC Butterfly. In terms of specs, the GooPhone M8 will carry a 5″ Full HD display and runs on a 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-Core processor with 1GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of on-board storage. It comes with a single 12.6MP main camera, a front facing 5MP unit and there’s also microSD expansion slot as well. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 2,800mAh capacity battery as well.

Just last week, they have revealed that they are making a GooPhone S5, almost immediately after the Galaxy S5 was announced at Unpacked 5.
