A thumbdrive for your phone: The SanDisk Ultra Dual is now available in Malaysia

The SanDisk Ultra Dual is useful tool to have. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities the SanDisk Ultra Dual provides additional storage space for your device and at the same time acts as a thumbdrive to quickly transfer files from your phone to your PC or other compatible devices. For devices with no expandable storage options and for those who frequently transfer large files across devices this dongle is a godsend.

It’s good news then that SanDisk has made the device available in Malaysia from RM55 for the 16GB option and RM155 for the 64GB unit. For the price you also get the MemoryZone mobile app that makes file transfer and backups quick and easy. The dongle is currently compatible with Android devices only (with USB OTG support).

While the SanDisk Ultra dual is cool, it isn’t the first of its kind. If you’re looking for alternatives other than SanDisk, a quick check on lelong reveals a couple of micro USB thumb drives being sold for around the same price.
