Huawei is expected to unveil a couple of new smart phones, tablets and a wearable device at the coming MWC 2014. Just ahead of its official announcement, new images of its purported Ascend G6 smart phone and a MediaPad X1 tablet have surfaced. The Ascend G6 press image shown above came from @Evleaks which has been popular for getting official pictures of unannounced devices. Next its new tablet has gotten a photographed in an early hands-on.

The Ascend G6 is mid-level Android device speculated to come with a 4.5″ display and runs on a Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor from MediaTek with 1GB of RAM. The device is said to be only 7.5mm thick and comes with a rear 8MP and a front facing 5MP camera. Its upcoming flagship – the Ascend P7 is expected to make an appearance at MWC and is likely to maintain a super slim profile. You can view an early leak of the Ascend P7 here.

Next one of its new tablets have been spotted and it is said to be the new MediaPad X1. Design wise, it looks like a mash up of several popular devices in one. Interestingly it also comes with a smart cover with a cut out window, which is similar to what we’ve seen from Samsung and LG. The new tablet is said to be pushing a high 1920×1200 resolution display in a 7″ screen. Powering the device is speculated to be powered by a Quad-Core 1.6GHz Hi-Silicon processor with 2GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB or 32GB storage with micro SD expansion slot. Juicing up the MediaPad X1 is a 6,000mAh battery.
