LG has just posted a teaser on their Facebook page that they will be unveiling a mini version of their current LG G2 flagship device. The teaser has added that the new Mini can be experienced at at MWC 2014 which is happening on the 24th of this month.
As flagship devices go faster and bigger in dimensions, there are users that prefer something smaller for practical single hand use. Usually when manufacturers release a mini version of their high-end device (e.g. Galaxy S4 mini and HTC One mini), they would downgrade the processor, camera and other various vital components turning it into an average device.
At least one manufacturer has tried to make things right with the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact which retains the same high-end quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and their 20.7MP pride and joy camera. Hopefully LG would be rocking high end specs for their upcoming LG G2 mini as well.
Today LG will be launching their new LG G Pro 2 phablet in Korea which will be competing directly with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Based on what we know so far, the new G Pro 2 will feature a 6″ Full HD display, 2.26GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP camera with Optical Image Stabiliser. Head after the break for a clearer shot of the LG G2 mini’s back.
