Samsung Galaxy S5 could look like this design reference render

Unlike other upcoming smart phones, Samsung has managed to keep its next Galaxy S5 design under wraps for a long time. Now a design reference of the new smart phone has emerged thanks to Sonny Dickson, which could be the real deal.

In terms of design, nothing much has been changed and it looks a lot like a Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 3 except for a couple minor touches. Dimension wise, the new model appears to be thicker at 8.2mm, compared to the Galaxy S4’s 7.9mm thickness. It is also taller by 5mm and wider by 2.7mm as well.

This is to be expected since it is said to be packing a larger 3,200mAh battery and a wider 5.25″ display. As comparison, the Galaxy Note 3 is 8.3mm thick.

Head after the break for a clearer image of the design reference.

The upcoming flagship from Samsung is expected to launch on 24th February at their Barcelona Unpacked 5 event and it will be streamed live on their YouTube channel. You can follow all the latest rumours and updates of the upcoming Galaxy S5 here.
