Oppo to enter Malaysia market. Flagship Oppo N1 might launch locally

UPDATE: Oppo will be launching the N1, Find 5 Mini, the R1, and OPPO Neo at the event.

UPDATE 2: Oppo N1 officially launched at RM1,798. Available before March 2014.

Oppo is said to be officially entering the Malaysia market as they have started sending invites for a launch event that’s happening next week 18th February. Its current flagship Oppo N1 with its unique rotating camera could be launching in the upcoming event. The device has already gone on sale in Thailand and Indonesia, so it won’t be surprising that Malaysia is next.

To recap, the Oppo N1 features a 5.9″ Full HD IPS display and a 13MP camera with a 6 elements lens and dual LED flash which can turn at 206 degrees. Underneath its aluminium frame, the N1 runs on a Quad-Core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor mated with 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of storage. Over at the back, it comes with a 12cmx12cm O touch panel which works as a touch pad. There’s also a O-Click key chain accessory which lets you locate either your phone or key chain if you misplace them.

Battery wise should be pretty good as the N1 packs a massive 3,610mAh capacity battery, giving an overall weight of 216 grams. It is also the first device support CyanogenMod officially. You can check out the promo photos and videos in our earlier post here.
