More screenshots of Sony D6503 “Sirius” reveal 60 fps 1080p HD video recording and 15.5MP photo option

Sony’s upcoming D6503 handset which could possibly launch as Xperia Z2 has more features revealed. Apart from the 4K video recording which was leaked earlier, the latest screenshots suggests a high speed 60 fps recording for 1080p HD video and a new 15.5MP camera option (5248×2952) for photography in 16:9 aspect ratio.

The current 20.7MP shooting Xperia Z1 offers a choice of 20.7MP (4:3), 8MP (4:3), 8MP (16:9), 3MP (4.3) and 2MP (16:9) sizes under manually settings, so the new 15.5MP option slots just right between the highest 20.7MP and 8MP resolution. The new screenshots also reveal a little bit more of its new Timeshift video which shoots a short video at a higher frame rate and it includes sound as well. This should be similar to HTC’s Zoe feature which records a video about 3 seconds which you can then edit and manipulate for the best shot.

The new D6503 could be launching at MWC 2014 and is rumoured to pack a larger 5.2″ Full HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM and a 20.7MP camera which shoots 4K videos. From the earlier screenshots, the new device is seen running on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Check out the full screenshots after the break.
