If you love flying gadgets like AR Drone and hate traffic jams at the same time, you’ve gotta check this out. The folks at Renault have introduced a new Kwid concept car which consists of a compact SUV that’s fitted with a flying companion.
The specially designed quadrocopter is housed on the roof and it can be covered when not in use. Whenever you face a road congestion or simply want to get an eagle eye view of things ahead, the drone can be sent out via a touch screen tablet on the dashboard. You could also use the drone to take panning selfie videos of the vehicle while driving.
The reality is that this is just a concept and it is unlikely we would see it in production anytime soon. Nevertheless, it is a cool idea which most of us would want on our cars right now.
