As LG prepares to launch its upcoming LG G Pro 2 phablet, they have revealed official details of its camera. In an official release, the LG G Pro 2 is said to include an improved Optical Image Stabilisation technology called OIS plus which is applied on a 13MP sensor.
In addition, the LG G Pro 2 is also capable of recording 4K videos at 3840×2160 pixels resolution, matching the capability of its direct rival the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.Whether this will give LG G Pro 2 an edge over the Galaxy Note 3 is yet to be seen. The new phablet from LG is likely to debut at MWC 2014 which is happening at the end of this month.
The image above is the purported G Pro 2 leaked ahead of launch. It reveals a rocker buttons at the back which is found on their current LG G2 & LG G Flex. In terms of specs, the LG G Pro 2 is rumoured to be running on the latest quad-core Snapdragon 800 and possibly a Full HD 6″ display. If it is launched and released internationally in a short time, this would give the Galaxy Note 3 some serious competition. As of late, LG has been rather slow in going to market in Malaysia as there’s hardly any official presence of their flagship smart phones here. Hopefully things will change in 2014.
