HTC seems to be keeping its KitKat rollout promise with the arrival of Android 4.4.2 and Sense 5.5 for its aluminium clad HTC One. The upgrade has started in France with their local telco SFR announcing that the update is available Over the Air (OTA).
Most European users are expected to receive the update soon and it won’t be too long for it to reach Malaysia. Current local HTC One units are currently running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and several users have complained of shorter battery life after the upgrade. Hopefully the KitKat upgrade would solve the current shortfalls.
