U Mobile refreshes Postpaid Plan with unlimited mobile internet and free calls within U Mobile

U Mobile which recently introduced commercial 4G LTE services has just refreshed its postpaid line up for the new year. The new Unlimited Plan offers Unlimited Mobile Internet and Unlimited Calls to anyone on U Mobile in the form of Unlimited 50 & Unlimited 80. These 2 plans replaces the previous U58 & U88 postpaid plans while its lowest U28 plan still remains with 1GB of data and 300 SMS (100 within U Mobile & 200 to other networks).

In terms of data quota, nothing much has changed with Unlimited 50 bundling 2GB of data and Unlimited 80 with 3GB at full 4G LTE speeds. Upon hitting your monthly limit, there’s no excess charge but speeds will be reduced. For phone calls, both plans come bundled with Unlimited calls within U Mobile and limited free calls to other networks. On Unlimited 50, it comes with 100 free minutes to other networks while Unlimited 80 offers 200 free minutes and 100 SMS. When compared with their previous U58 & U88 plans, the amount of calls & SMS to other networks have been reduced in favour for unlimited free calls within their network.

If you have multiple devices or plan to share the data quota with someone, both plans are entitled for supplementary Member Plan at RM10/month per SIM. Apart from sharing mobile data, each SIM also gets additional 100 minutes and 200 minutes of calls to any network respectively under Unlimited 50 & Unlimited 80 main subscriptions. More details on that here.

Another Unlimited highlight is their low RM30/day unlimited international data roaming across 8 countries in Asia including Singapore, China & Hong Kong. You can check out more details on their data roaming partners here.
