ASUS PadFone mini 4.3 listed at RM1,249 in Malaysia, with availability expected soon

The ASUS PadFone mini 4.3 is coming soon to Malaysia with a retail pricing of RM1,249. This was discovered from ASUS Malaysia product catalog for January and although it isn’t announced locally, you can expect it to go on sale very soon.

The PadFone mini 4.3 which was announced last month is the smallest smart phone/tablet hybrid solution yet from the Taiwanese manufacturer. In terms of specs, it is rather mid-tier with a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. The smart phone comes with a 4.3″ IPS display that does a qHD resolution of 960×540 pixels while the tablet station uses a 7″ 1280×800 resolution display. It gets a 8MP main camera and a front facing 2MP shooter.

Powering the smart phone is a 1,500mAh battery while the PadFone station packs a 2,200mAh battery. Just like the previous PadFones, the PadFone station battery is able to charge the smart phone when its docked. The PadFone mini 4.3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and it is available in Chocolate Black and Milky White colours.
