Samsung Gets Ready to Reveal Galaxy Gear 2?

The Galaxy Gear was first announced in early September of 2013 and in less that six month it looks like Samsung is getting ready to unveil its replacement. At least that’s what this tweet suggests.

Seeking to claim a sizable chunk of the emerging wearable market, Samsung developed the Galaxy Gear. It is, for the most part, the most advanced smartwatch you can get but many see it as a flop though we have a different opinion.

The Galaxy Gear had great build quality and considering that Samsung managed to pack what is essentially a smartphone into a sleek watch is an amazing feat in itself. Yes, the interface feel clunky at time and some of the features doesn’t work as claimed but it is an important step in the right direction for wearable technology, and while those who’ve just put money down for a Galaxy Gear will be fuming to know that a replacement might be released soon, you can’t blame Samsung’s tenacity.

The tweet doesn’t reveal much but if what we’ve gathered is anything to go by then expect Samsung to make major announcements at MWC 2014 happening at the end of February.
