HTC has quietly released a gold edition of its 5.9″ HTC One Max in Taiwan, following the footsteps of its smaller 4.7″ HTC One sibling. It was made available for order right before Christmas and joins its existing Silver, Black & Red colours.
Like the HTC One Gold edition, the pricing is expected to remain the same and it retains the same hardware of a 5.9″ Full HD display, quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 4MP Ultrapixel camera and gold coloured aluminium finish. So far no word on its international availability as it seems to be exclusive to Taiwan at the moment. In comparison, its smaller 4.7″ HTC One Gold edition was released for the European market.
