Official Malaysian iPad Air WiFi & WiFi + 4G model pricing revealed

UPDATE: 2nd gen iPad mini with Retina Display now officially available in Malaysia from RM1,279.

The iPad Air is now officially on sale in Malaysia with outright purchase available through SenQ, MacCity, Switch and Machines. Here’s the full iPad Air pricing from SenQ below:

16GB WiFi – RM1,599
32GB WiFi – RM1,929
64GB WiFi – RM2,249
128GB WiFi – RM2,579

16GB WiFi + 4G – RM2,029
32GB WiFi + 4G – RM2,349
64GB WiFi + 4G – RM2,679
128GB WiFi + 4G – RM2,999

In comparison with iPad 4, the new iPad Air WiFi version is about RM100-RM180 more. For example, the 16GB WiFi version used to be priced at RM1,499 but the new lighter and thinner version is going for RM1,599 which isn’t bad considering the extra improvement it brings. For the 4G LTE units, SenQ’s pricing is slightly different from what Maxis is offering.

If you’re looking to get one now, you better start queuing at SenQ’s 10 participating outlets which will be open at 10:30AM. For those planning to use it with 4G LTE connectivity, Maxis is offering the 16GB WiFi + 4G model on contract from RM1,449 with its SurfMore 75 contract.
