The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) that was just launched in Malaysia last week is now available on Celcom. The new Galaxy Note 10.1 retails at RM2,299 for its 4G LTE with 32GB storage capacity and it is offered as low as RM1,588 with Celcom’s First Data plans. You can read up more details of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition here.

The First Data plans comes bundled with mobile internet data with calls and SMS being charged separately. You have a choice of Lite (1.5GB – RM48/month), Basic (4GB – RM68/month) & Advance (5GB – RM98/month) which are speed limited at 1.5Mbps, 3.6Mbps and 5Mbps respectively.

With 4G LTE being supported on the Note 10.1 (2014), it is strange that Celcom is still capping its download speeds depending on the package you choose. Additional calls are charged at 15sen/min while SMS are charged at 10sen/SMS.

The full bundled pricing below:

Celcom First Data Lite + Voice (12 months) – RM1,988
Celcom First Data Lite + Voice (24 months) – RM1,888
Celcom First Data Basic + Voice (12 months) – RM1,888
Celcom First Data Basic + Voice (24 months) – RM1,788
Celcom First Data Advance + Voice (12 months) – RM1,788
Celcom First Data Advance + Voice (24 months) – RM1,588

During registration there’s an upfront advance payment between RM200 to RM500 which will be rebated back to your bills across 10 months. For more info, head over to Celcom’s Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) page.
