HTC One mini now officially available in Malaysia

The HTC One mini, the smallest of the aluminium clad One series has finally announced in Malaysia at RM1,699. HTC Malaysia has mentioned that it will come in 2 colours – Glacial Silver and Stealth Black, and it will be available today at all HTC retail outlets. Unfortunately there’s no mention of its striking blue colour unit being available here.

To recap on the specs, the HTC One mini comes with a more compact 4.3″ display that does 720p HD resolution and is powered with a dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor mated with 1GB of RAM. On-board it has 16GB of storage, 1,800mAh battery and HTC’s signature Boom Sound stereo speakers. In terms of camera, it features the same 4MP Ultrapixel shooter as well.

While the HTC One mini offers a more premium build quality and design, the pricing is quite steep considering its mid-tier hardware specs. The HTC One mini also lacks NFC and the IR blaster that’s found on its bigger siblings. It maintains the same 9.3mm thickness as the HTC One and it also supports 4G LTE.

You can check out the comparison of the HTC One mini against the original 4.7″ HTC One and its latest 5.9″ HTC One Max over here.
