Apple’s special event is happening tomorrow at 1AM

Apple’s special event entitled “We still have a lot to cover” is happening early tomorrow morning at 1AM Malaysia time (GMT+08) on 23rd October. This is where Apple is expected to release its next iteration of iPad and iPad mini with upgraded specs and new features to bring their game to the next level.

So what can we expect with the new 5th gen iPad & 2nd gen iPad mini? While the screens remain the same with the full sized iPad at 9.7″ and iPad mini at 7.9″, both devices are expected to be slimmer and share the similar design approach as its current iPhone 5S. Processing power is definitely getting a bump with possibly the full sized iPad having a newer 64-bit A7 chip with Touch ID fingerprint scanner as found on their latest smart phone.

With the popularity of compact tablets in the marketplace, the iPad mini is expected to receive a bump in the display department with Retina display but recent rumours suggest that it might be sticking to its conventional resolution display.
