Nokia Lumia 1520 specs revealed ahead of event

If you think the current Nokia Lumias are lacking in processing power and display, they are closing the gap with its upcoming Lumia 1520. Being a photography focused device, the Lumia 1520 is said to be running on a faster Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and a Full HD 6″ display that does 1920×1080 pixels resolution. That gives a pixel density of 367ppi which is a slight notch below the HTC One Max‘s 5.9″ Full HD display with 373ppi.

In the camera department, it won’t carry the epic 41MP shooter found on the Lumia 1020 but instead it uses a 20.7MP PureView camera. In our earlier camera comparison test, the Lumia 1020 just blows the competition out of the water and hopefully the Lumia 1520 would not disappoint.

Storage wise, it will be available in either 16GB/32GB and it is said to come with Qi wireless charging cover as well. Just like the Lumia 1020, it will be available in Black, White & striking yellow. In terms of pricing, it is leaked in China at a purported 4,999 Yuan which is about RM2,587 when converted directly. Nokia’s big event is happening tomorrow and their first tablet the Lumia 2520 is expected to be unveiled as well.
