If you’re looking for a big screen device without busting your budget, the Sony Xperia C offers large 5″ display, a quad-core processor and dual-SIM card support for under RM1,000. Online retailer StoreKini has listed the Xperia C at RM949 after discount from its retail RM999 price tag.
Seen as a baby Xperia Z, the Xperia C retains the familiar looking design at the front including their signature metalltic power button. The front 5″ display pushes a qHD resolution of 960×540 which gives a rather low pixel density of 220ppi. Powering the device is a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and on-board it has 4GB of storage which can be expanded with microSD.
At the back, it comes with a 8MP camera and there’s even a dedicated camera button which is Fast Capture enabled, allowing you to take the shot in sleep to snap instantly. Juicing up the Xperia C is a rather generous 2,390mAh battery and overall it weighs 153 grams with a thickness of 8.88mm.
