Apple’s October 22 event confirmed. New iPads & Macs expected to be announced

Apple has finally confirmed its upcoming special event that’s happening on October 22 with the theme “We still have a lot to cover”. After unveiling their iPhones for 2013, it is natural to expect Apple to revamp its line up of iPads with their 5th generation 9.7″ tablet with Retina display and their 2nd generation iPad mini.

So what’s new? Apart from bumping up in the processor department, the new iPads are expected to come with a slimmer design profile similar to its current range of iPhone 5/5S. Rumour has it that the new iPads would also incorporate the seamlessly easy to use Touch ID.

iPads aside, Apple is also expected to introduce its new line up of Macs running on their latest OS X Mavericks. The event is happening 7 days from now so mark your calendars this 22nd October (or 23rd October Malaysian time).
