What We Know About the HTC One Max

UPDATE: HTC One Max is now official. 5.9″ Smart Phone with Snapdragon 600 processor and fingerprint scanner.

The biggest HTC related news right now revolves around the much rumoured and talked about HTC One Max. Save for a few teasers here and here along with the confirmed launch date, HTC has not much about the device, so what can you expect come October 15?

Here’s what we know about the HTC One Max.

It will be larger than the Note 3
The leaked specs tell a lot about the device and the 5.9-inch display is almost certainly confirmed. So is the 1080p resolution. And if what we’ve gathered is anything to go by, the One Max is going to be bigger than the Galaxy Note 3 but smaller than the Xperia Z Ultra. By our experience, the One Max is at the limit of how big we like large-format phone to be.

Familiar design DNA with great build quality, built in
HTC make amazing, beautifully build phones and the One Max stays faithful to this HTC trademark. The leaked pictures accurately depict how the One Max will look like. The HTC One design DNA is carried forward seamlessly to the One Max.

Pay attention to the fingerprint scanner rumour
Rumours abound that the One Max will have a fingerprint sensor. All we can say is, take note of the rumour.

Sense 5.5 and Android 4.3 pretty much confirmed as well
Being HTC’s latest device, you can expect HTC to introduce some improvements in the firmware and other proprietary software. Expect the One Max to ship with Sense 5.5 and Android 4.3 along with new filters and features in Zoe and BlinkFeed.

October 15 Launch Date is Confirmed
HTC will officially reveal the One Max next week. We expect the Malaysia launch to happen soon after that.

And that’s pretty what we know about the HTC One Max, for now. Stay tune as we share more details when they come to light.
