Maxis to offer Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on launch day with Free Galaxy Gear Smart Watch

UPDATE: Maxis contract plans for Galaxy Note 3 finally revealed from RM1,199.

Finally Maxis has emerged with a teaser that they too will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 during launch day. Looks like the big 3 telcos Maxis, Celcom & DiGi will be pushing the device simultaneously while U Mobile has recently just closed its registration of interest. So far, Maxis has yet to reveal their Galaxy Note 3 bundled pricing.

At the moment, both DiGi & Celcom are offering the new 5.7″ Android phablet on contract with only 24 month duration from as low as RM1,319 and RM1,538 respectively. For Maxis, we would expect them to bundle it with the usual SurfMore & Talkmore plans and hopefully they will offer it with a shorter 12 month contract duration.

To recap, the Galaxy Note 3 is officially available in Malaysia this Wednesday, 25th September. We will be getting the 4G LTE model that’s running on a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. On launch day, Samsung Malaysia will be having a roadshow event at their new Samsung Experience Store at the Gardens where the device will be available for purchase outright without contract. The Galaxy Note 3 is priced at RM2,399 while its Galaxy Gear smart watch is priced at RM999.
