UPDATE 3: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 4G LTE model also available from Celcom, U Mobile and Senheng.

It looks like the Galaxy Note 3 could be available in Malaysia earlier than September 25. Samsung Malaysia today has confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy Note 3 and its happening on September 20, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also be making its Malaysian debut at the event.

September 20 is a Friday so there’s good chance that the device will be available in stores on the same day. Earlier this week, DiGi announced that the operator will open pre-orders for the Note 3 on September 18, so if you want to be among the first to get the Note 3 in Malaysia, DiGi is the way to go.

As far as we can gather Malaysia will be getting both the 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core LTE version and the 1.9GHz Exynos Octa-Core non-LTE version.

The big question is pricing, while there’s nothing official at the moment but we don’t expect the Note 3 to be price much different from its predecessor at RM2,299 and a listing on online retailer Superbuy seems to confirm this but we can’t take this as the official word till we get it from Samsung.

In any case, we will be at the event to bring you the latest update so make sure you’re already following us on Twitter.
