Following earlier rumours of a smaller HTC One, dubbed as the HTC M4 has finally appeared online. According to the source, it will be called the HTC One mini.
In terms of design, it looks rather identical with its bigger HTC One. As expected, it has smaller dimensions due to its 4.3″ HD 720p display that’s slightly smaller than the One’s 4.7″ Full HD screen. In terms of specs, it is said to be running on a dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM and comes bundled with an Ultrapixel camera. Storage wise, it is said to be a notch down with 16GB on board and comes with a lower capacity 1,700mAh battery.
Overall, this seems like a direct assault on the Galaxy S4 mini. However the Galaxy S4 mini comes with a lower resolution 4.3″ qHD display with dual-core 1.7GHz processor and 1.5GB of RAM. According to the source, the HTC One mini will be launched in August with an estimated price tag of 400 Euros (about RM1,600).
