The HTC One which currently runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean will be getting an update pretty soon. Before it gets rolled out to users particularly in Malaysia, details of the new Android 4.2.2 update have already being surfaced.
Among the new enhancements is the addition of having a percentage on the battery life at the top and the ability to customise how the Home button should behave. At the moment, there’s no way to physically press for menu button but with the new update you can enable “press & hold” on home button for menu.
While the HTC One interface is sleek, it lacks toggle switches for your WiFi/Bluetooth and various options on the notification bar. The new update will offer just that which makes setting change easier. There’s also Android daydream and other small touches to improve the Sense UI.
