When it comes to comparison, it is common to compare device from the same category. Interestingly Microsoft has released a video that compares the Galaxy S4 versus a lower end Nokia Lumia 521. Instead of battling out of specs and features, the host in the video talks about how much you can get with the price difference between the 2 devices.
In the video, the Galaxy S4 is said to be priced at US$750 while the Lumia 521 is only US$150. Then it went on to see what else you can buy with the US$600 saved which includes a brand new ASUS Laptop, headphones and music subscription service.
Comparing a high end vs a entry level device is already ridiculous and the host even admitted that he is using a high end Lumia 920 as his daily phone. Whatever Microsoft wants to achieve, it is certainly not an apple to apple comparison and it’s just as silly as bragging how many Perodua Vivas you can buy for the price of a Ferrari.
