DiGi offers Galaxy S4 pre-order from RM1,199 with DG Smart Plan. Retails at RM2,199 for Exynos 5 model

DiGi has finally kicked off its pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S4, giving a chance for those to own the device without the need of lining up with the crowd on launch date. The Galaxy S4 which is being bundled is the Exynos 5 version that comes with an Octa-Core processor but lacks 4G LTE connectivity. The retail price is listed as RM2,199 which is the same price as the Galaxy S III when it was launched 11 months ago.

The Galaxy S4 is offered as low as RM1,199 on DG Smart Plan and at the moment only the Black Mist colour is being offered. The full bundled pricing as follows:

DG Smart Plan 58 (24 months) – RM1,759
DG Smart Plan 88 (24 months ) – RM1,519
DG Smart Plan 148 (24 months ) – RM1,199

DiGi is offering only 24 months contract duration for the pre-order and an advance payment between RM240-800 is required upfront during registration which will be rebated to your monthly bill. For the Smart Plan 148, it will be fully refunded to your bill on the first month. This means whichever plan you go for, you would need to fork out over RM2,000 during sign up for the device and advance payment.

In terms of availability, DiGi has mentioned that deliveries will be done by the last week of April. Over at Singapore, the Galaxy S4 is officially available next Saturday on the 27th April 2013. To capitilise on a weekend, it is likely that Malaysia could be launching at the same time as well.
