Samsung Galaxy S4 Mega & Tab 3 Plus in the works?

Following the Samsung Galaxy S4 announcement, we’ve seen leaked photos of its smaller sibling in a form of a Galaxy S4 mini. Now it seems that Samsung is not stopping at all and it is now rumoured that a bigger Galaxy Mega model is in the works with a larger 5.8″ display and comes with dual-SIM capability. This could be a replacement of the Galaxy Grand which comes with a larger 5.0″ display with dual-SIM slots.

At 5.8″, this new rumoured Galaxy model is bigger than the existing 5.5″ Galaxy Note II. If this is true, the next Galaxy Note III could possibly go bigger with a 6.3″ display. Details of the specs is rather scarce but it is likely to be a notch lower than its flagship Galaxy S4 that comes with a Full HD 5.0″ screen.

Next is the rumoured details of Samsung’s Tab 2 10.1″ replacement dubbed as the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. From the leaked image, it looks like a stretched version of the Galaxy Note 8.0 that features a similar nature design.

Head after the break for more details of the purported Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus is said to be powered with a Octa Core Exynos 5410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. Display wise, the 10.1″ screen is said to be pushing 300ppi with a resolution of 2560×1600.

However looking at the so called leaked image above, this begins to look like an April Fool prank. The presence of the physical button below doesn’t make sense for an Android tablet since most of the typical Android button controls are on-screen. The ear-piece speaker which indicates phone call capabilities isn’t practical at all in landscape mode as one would look silly holding it like a tablet boombox during phone calls. While the specs are believable, the image above seems to be a fake.
