It looks like Samsung wasn’t just working on the Galaxy S4, but also on smaller model as well. What you see on the far right is the purported Galaxy S4 mini that’s expected to be launched sometime in June/July.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is said to be having a larger 4.3″ Super AMOLED screen with qHD resolution of 960×540, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and an option for dual-SIM variant. In terms of operating system, it is spotted to be running with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and carries the model number GT-i9190. It is likely to carry some of the “smart” features from the Galaxy S4.
Details are rather sketchy as of now but spec wise it looks like pretty decent mid-range device if the price is right. As comparison, the current Samsung Galaxy S III mini which is priced at RM999 comes with a 4.0″ Super AMOLED screen that does 800×480 pixels resolution. Powering the device is a dual-core NovaThor 1GHz processor.
Head after the break for more photos of the rumoured device.
