Details of upcoming flagship HTC device revealed early ahead of event

UPDATE: New HTC One officially revealed.

Just before HTC officially reveals its upcoming flagship device dubbed the M7, the purported official press images have already been leaked. In terms of design it looks like a mix of several smart phones we’ve seen and most notably the chamfered edges from the iPhone 5. With the launch happening anytime soon, this looks like the real deal.

In terms of specs, the new flagship device which is said to be called just “HTC One” will come with a Full HD 4.7″ display that pushes 469ppi, a new quad-core processor running at 1.7GHz mated with 2GB of RAM. Other rumoured details include a 2,300mAh battery, front facing stereo speakers, IR port and an improved camera. This certainly is a big improvement over the current flagship HTC Butterfly.

If you can’t wait for the official details, worry not as the official HTC event is happening at 11:00PM tonight. For the latest updates, follow us on twitter at @soya_cincau
